Pasta Oner

Bio

Pasta Oner (1979) is considered one of the most distinctive representatives of the contemporary Czech art scene. As a creative personality, Pasta Oner has been intensively profiled in recent years within the limits of classic independent and public gallery operations, in which he combines and at the same time transcends the traditional genre categories of pop art and cartoon aesthetics. Although at the core of his work he touches on the principles of "post-production" or "appropriation", Pasta Oner stands out with his dominant works of post-conceptual strategies in contemporary art and treads in the Czech context an unconventional path of a well-known, whose work remains comprehensible even with the preservation of a certain degree of semantic subversion.

#

The focus of Pasta's work is acrylic painting and the creation of hanging paintings, as well as the design of spatial objects, sculptures, installations, graphics and non-traditional innovative techniques.
