Norma Jeane Mortenson – Marilyn

The mural depicts yet another pop culture icon and sex symbol – Marilyn Monroe who has been portrayed by Pasta Oner several times in various forms in the manner of Andy Warhol. Like the sculpture of Mickey Mouse, this image, too has been rendered by the artist in a different material, giving rise to a series of monochromatic etchings cast in faux stone where Pasta boldly juxtaposes disparate and mutually ironic iconic scenes.
